Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our flower pressing workshops, tools, and craft processes.

How long does it take to properly dry flowers for pressing?
Most botanicals require 4 to 8 weeks of controlled drying depending on species, humidity, and thickness. Our archival methods use archival paper and gentle pressure to preserve color and structure.
What materials do you recommend for professional results?
We recommend acid-free blotter paper, museum-grade presses, and silica-based desiccants. All items are available in our catalog with full specifications and provenance documentation.
Do you offer workshops for complete beginners?
Yes. Our beginner workshops cover everything from specimen selection to final mounting. No prior experience is required. Intermediate and advanced masterclasses are also available.
What is your cancellation and refund policy for workshops?
Full refunds are provided with 14 days' notice. Cancellations within 14 days receive a 50% refund. We can also transfer your spot to a future date if needed.
How do you ensure color retention during pressing?
Our proprietary slow-press method combined with light-blocking archival sleeves prevents pigment oxidation. We test every batch for colorfastness before shipping.
Are your tools suitable for international shipping?
Yes. All tools are packed in protective cases and shipped worldwide. Average delivery is 5–12 business days depending on your location. Custom declarations are included.
Can I bring my own flowers to a workshop?
Absolutely. We encourage participants to bring locally foraged or dried specimens. Our instructors provide guidance on what will work best in the press.
What is included in the Fallows membership program?
Members receive quarterly material kits, exclusive online sessions, discounted tools, and early access to new workshop dates. There is no obligation — cancel anytime.
